“Out There” is nine acres of land in Floyd County Virginia where Charlie Brouwer lives and has his studio. Floyd County is in the Blue Ridge Mountains of SW Virginia near the Blue Ridge Parkway. Visitors are always welcome to visit by appointment and the studio and grounds are open to the public periodically. In the studio, visitors can see past work and works in progress. Outdoor sculptures (usually about 20 of them) can be seen by walking the trails through the fields and woods of the grounds.
